about

The Egilsay Priest - A priest going about his wearisome work. The plucking fiddle symbolizing the ticking of time and his daily prosaic way of life and that of the Islanders.

The Dove – The air begins with Magnus, a solitary figure, in contemplative state in the Kirk. Over time, this air is enveloped by the original theme, as through his martyrdom St. Magnus becomes the central figure of devotion.
