about

On this misty April morning, this piece recreates a conversation between the two Tinkers. The plucked fiddle representing the sedate and measured way of life introducing the first strathspey - April Fool - The optimistic dreamer, the upbeat and unbridled imagination of Tinker 1.

Three for a Penny – Tinker 2, in splendiferous agreement, but his rhetoric concludes with ‘What is a thousand cups, And you a dead man’

Returns to the plucked fiddle, life, plodding along, the macabre events drifting off on the waves, like the ships returning to Bergen, “Mugs, Best Tin, Three for a Penny”
